MICHAEL
HAUGE,
author of Writing Screenplays That Sell, has consulted with
screenwriters or producers on projects for Warners, Disney, New Line,
CBS, Lifetime, Morgan Freeman, Jennifer Lopez and Julia Roberts. He is
producing several films based on screenplays by former clients, and has
presented his screenwriting seminars and lectures to more than 30,000
writers and filmmakers throughout the US, Canada and Europe. Michael is
on the Board of Directors for the American Screenwriting Association.
He is a STAR Speaker of the Screenwriting Expo.
PILAR
ALESSANDRA
is the director of "On the Page," and former Senior Story Analyst for
DreamWorks and Radar Pictures. She's trained story analysts at
Nickelodeon, MTV, and Final Draft and has taught writing and pitching
at numerous film festivals including the Screenwriting Expo where she's
regularly featured as a "star speaker." Her company "On the Page"
(www.onthepage.tv) provides ongoing classes, workshops and private
consultations for screenwriters at all levels. Classes take a "dig into
pages" approach, inspiring students to write or refine their
screenplays in a matter of weeks.
KARL IGLESIAS
teaches at UCLA Extension's Writer's Program and Writers University. He
is the best-selling author of The 101 Habits of Highly Successful
Screenwriters, and Writing for Emotional Impact. He also writes the
regular column on the craft for Creative Screenwriting magazine. As a
script consultant passionate about great storytelling, he specializes
in the reader's emotional response to the written page. He is a STAR
Speaker of the Screenwriting Expo.
KEN ROTCOP
is an award-winning writer for the TV movie For Us, the Living: The
Story of Medgar Evers, and is the author of the best-selling book The
Perfect Pitch. He was recently featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show and
STARZ' Entertainment Tonight Show. A feature-length documentary called
Talk Fast about Ken and his Professional Writers Workshop is presently
making the rounds at the many different film festivals. Formerly
creative head of four studios, Rotcop has written for every form of
television. He heads the Professional Writers Workshop and his students
have had fifteen movies produced as well as numerous stage plays and
published books within the last four years. He was a STAR Speaker of
Screenwriting Expo 2.
